Florida BASA Renewal
This six hour packages qualifies for renewal of a Florida Burglar Alarm System (BASA). This course is approved by the Electrical Contractors Safety Board (ECLB) for renewal of a BASA license and badge. You will receive a free electronic badge through the ShowMYBadge.com system at the conclusion of the course.
This is a renewal package only. If you currently carry a BASA badge, this course will provide a two-year renewal. If you do not currently have BASA licensing in Florida, you will need to take the initial training course which will provide the license for two years before renewal is required.

Every technician and salesperson performing security alarm system work in the State of Florida requires a valid Burglar Alarm System Agent (BASA) license. After initial training and certification, the BASA license must be renewed every two years.
This course provides the required six hours of continuing education to renew your license and badge. It is broken down into two sections.
Required Elements
The Florida statute requires all BASA personnel to go through required training as part of their renewals. The following modules must be taken has part of this renewal package.
